ICR-International Creative Residences is an artistic residency program dedicated to the creation and presentation of original works, with an emphasis on contemporary and experimental music. Created in Europe in 2018 by the Associazione Culturale Springtime Jazz Festival (IT), it has held 26 editions in several countries.
GRF Cultural served as executive producer of three editions of the program, all co-produced with the Associazione Culturale Springtime Jazz Festival (IT). Edition #21 took place in Barcelona and Amsterdam, with a residency from 3 to 9 November and three public events in Barcelona (Soda Acústic, Sinestesia, and Ateneu La Base), with the support of i-Portunus, the European Union’s mobility program (Creative Europe), through a grant awarded to Rodrigo Girafa. Editions #24 and #26 took place in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo; selected editions of the Free At Last and Ex Tempo series were part of their programs.
